Calling all teachers, scout leaders, youth group directors, and the ilk! Mali Rising is accepting applications until June 15 to join your young people with ours in Mali.

Classroom Connections is a fun way for young people in the United States to learn more about Mali and connect with peers in Mali through hands-on projects. Classroom Connections is designed to educate students in the U.S. about students and culture in Mali, provide meaningful service projects for U.S. students to build relationships with their peers in Mali, and create a feedback loop that encourages U.S. students to better understand their world and how they can play a helpful role in the world.

If you are or you know a teacher, scout leader, or youth group director, encourage them to learn more and apply by June 15.  The application form is simple and doesn't commit you to participate -- it will simply allow us to share more information about the project with you and to select those most interested in the project.

We can only partner with 6 U.S. classrooms or groups for the 17/18 school year,* so get your application in and let's talk!

* Applicants will be selected based on capacity, project interest, geographic diversity, and priority date of application.
